Quartz has a high thermal resistance, which makes it a popular choice for the “bangers” used in dab rigs. Elements of quartz are mixed into the coils, allowing for slower heat diffusion. In layman terms, it helps to prevent burning the oil and provides a smooth puff, with great flavor. These cartridges still perform at higher voltages, however the low resistance Quartz Coil is designed to be used at low voltage. Pair with a LSF battery for optimal performance.
